Short definitionductal intraepithelial neoplasia - (pronounced) (DUK-tul IN-truh-eh-pih-THEE-lee-ul NEE-oh-PLAY-zhuh) condition in which abnormal cells are found in the lining of a milk duct (milk duct). Ductal intraepithelial neoplasia can increase the risk of breast cancer, in which these abnormal cells become cancerous and spread outside the milk duct to other tissues in the breast.
