Dominique Voynet (born 4 November 1958) is a prominent French politician, physician, and a key figure in the Green political movement in France. She is best known for her role in founding The Greens party in France and her tenure as the Minister of Planning and Environment from 1997 to 2001 under Prime Minister Lionel Jospin's Plural Left government.
