Defeminization (/diːˌfɛmɪnaɪˈzeɪʃən/) is a term used in medicine and psychology to describe the process by which an individual loses, or is deprived of, characteristics that are typically associated with the female gender.

Etymology

The term "defeminization" is derived from the prefix "de-", meaning "removal" or "reversal", and "feminization", which refers to the process of acquiring female characteristics.
