Cryolipolysis
Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive fat reduction procedure that uses controlled cooling to selectively target and destroy adipose tissue. Cryolipolysis is primarily used for cosmetic body contouring and is not a weight-loss treatment. It is most effective in individuals who are near their ideal body weight but have stubborn fat deposits that do not respond to diet and exercise. Common treatment areas include:
- Abdomen – Lower belly fat.
- Flanks ("love handles") – Excess fat on the sides of the waist.
- Thighs – Inner and outer thighs.
- Upper arms – Fat deposits on the triceps area.
- Back and bra fat – Excess fat around the upper torso.
- Submental area ("double chin") – Small applicators can target fat under the chin.
