CommonSpirit Health is a non-profit, Catholic health system in the United States. It was formed in 2019 through the merger of Dignity Health and Catholic Health Initiatives. CommonSpirit Health is one of the largest healthcare systems in the country, providing a wide range of services across numerous states.

History

The formation of CommonSpirit Health was announced in December 2017 and officially completed in February 2019. The merger brought together two major Catholic health systems, creating a network that spans 21 states with over 700 care sites, including hospitals, urgent and primary care centers, and specialty clinics.
