Cherry Hill, New Jersey is a township in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As one of the major suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Cherry Hill is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area and the Delaware Valley. The township has a rich history, modern amenities, and a diverse community, making it a significant area both in terms of its cultural and economic contributions to the region.

The area now known as Cherry Hill was originally inhabited by the Leni Lenape Native Americans before being settled by Europeans in the 17th century. It was initially part of Gloucester County before being incorporated as Delaware Township in 1844, from portions of Waterford Township. The township was renamed Cherry Hill in 1961, based on the Cherry Hill Inn, a landmark that stood at what is now the intersection of Route 38 and Haddonfield Road.

Cherry Hill is located in southwestern New Jersey, bordering the city of Philadelphia to the west.
