CHPP - A treatment during surgery in which a heated solution containing anticancer drugs is infused through a thin tube directly into the abdominal cavity. After surgically removing as much tumor tissue as possible, CHPP is given to kill any remaining tumor cells. It is most commonly used to treat cancer that has spread to the peritoneum (the lining of the abdomen).
