Branchiopoda
Branchiopoda is a class of crustaceans that includes the familiar water fleas and fairy shrimp. These aquatic invertebrates are characterized by their branched ("branchio") feet ("poda"), which are used for feeding and gas exchange. Description
Branchiopods are small to medium-sized crustaceans, with body sizes ranging from a few millimeters to several centimeters in length.
