Baconnaise
Baconnaise is a bacon-flavored, mayonnaise-based food spread that is ovo vegetarian and kosher certified. It was created by Justin Esch and Dave Lefkow, founders of J&D's Foods, in November 2008, and sold 40,000 jars within six months. It is sold in the United States and Canada.

Baconnaise was created by Justin Esch and Dave Lefkow, founders of J&D's Foods. The idea for Baconnaise began as a joke on an episode of Jon Stewart's The Daily Show. Esch and Lefkow started a company selling Bacon Salt in 2007, and Baconnaise was their second product. The product was officially launched on October 30, 2008. By April 2009, they had sold 40,000 jars of Baconnaise.
