BPA - A substance used in a radiation therapy called boron neutron capture therapy. BPA is injected into a blood vessel and accumulates in tumor cells. The patient then receives radiation therapy using atomic particles called neutrons. The neutrons react with BPA to kill the tumor cells without harming normal cells. Also called boron phenylalanine
