Arthur Rimbaud

Relationship with Verlaine

Their relationship eventually ended after Verlaine shot Rimbaud in a drunken rage, for which Verlaine was imprisoned.

He traveled extensively in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, working in various occupations. Rimbaud's later years were marked by illness and suffering. He died in Marseille at the age of 37 from cancer.
