Ararat (Medicine)

Ararat (pronounced: /ˈærəræt/) is a term not commonly used in the medical field. However, it is a significant geographical location that may be referenced in the context of environmental health, epidemiology, and medical anthropology.

Etymology

The term "Ararat" is of Armenian origin, derived from the Armenian word "Araratian," which means "from Ararat." Ararat is a historical region in Eastern Anatopia, now part of modern-day Turkey, and is most known for Mount Ararat, the highest peak in Turkey.
