Apotek 1
Apotek 1 is the largest pharmacy chain in Norway. It was established in 1991 following the deregulation of the pharmacy market in Norway. The chain is owned by the Norwegian wholesaler Norsk Medisinaldepot and consists of both owner-operated and franchise pharmacies.
History
Apotek 1 was established in 1991, following the deregulation of the pharmacy market in Norway. The deregulation allowed for the establishment of new pharmacies and the expansion of existing ones. Prior to the deregulation, the pharmacy market in Norway was highly regulated and controlled by the state.
Ownership
Apotek 1 is owned by the Norwegian wholesaler Norsk Medisinaldepot, a subsidiary of the German company Phoenix Group. Norsk Medisinaldepot is one of the largest pharmaceutical wholesalers in Norway and supplies Apotek 1 with its products.
Operations
Apotek 1 operates both owner-operated and franchise pharmacies. The chain has pharmacies in all counties of Norway and is the largest pharmacy chain in the country. Apotek 1 offers a wide range of pharmaceutical products, including prescription and over-the-counter drugs, health and wellness products, and beauty products.
Services
In addition to selling pharmaceutical products, Apotek 1 also offers a range of services. These include pharmaceutical counseling, medication reviews, and health checks. The chain also offers online services, including online ordering and home delivery.
