Alkeran tablets - (pronounced) (AL-keh-ran TA-blets) A drug used to treat multiple myeloma and ovarian cell carcinoma that cannot be surgically removed. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Alkeran tablets can kill cancer cells by damaging their DNA and stopping them from dividing. It's a type of alkylating agent.
