Alfred Vogel
Alfred Vogel (26 October 1902 – 1 October 1996) was a Swiss herbalist, naturopath, and pioneer in the field of natural health. He is best known for his contributions to phytotherapy and for founding the company Bioforce AG, which produces herbal remedies and dietary supplements.
Early Life
Alfred Vogel was born in Aesch, a small village in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in plants and their medicinal properties, influenced by his family's tradition of using natural remedies.
Career
Vogel's career in natural health began in earnest in the 1920s when he started to study and experiment with various herbs and plants. He opened his first health food store in Basel in 1929, where he sold herbal remedies and provided health advice.

In 1963, Vogel founded Bioforce AG, a company dedicated to the production and distribution of herbal medicines and dietary supplements. The company is headquartered in Roggwil, Switzerland, and continues to operate under the principles established by Vogel.
