Political Positions[edit]
The Alabama Democratic Party supports a range of policies that align with the national Democratic Party platform. These include support for healthcare reform, education reform, environmental protection, and civil rights. The party also advocates for economic policies that promote job growth and support for working families.
Notable Members[edit]
The Alabama Democratic Party has been home to many notable political figures throughout its history. Some of the prominent members include:
- Terri Sewell, a current member of the United States House of Representatives representing Alabama's 7th congressional district.
- Shomari Figures, a notable political figure in the state.
Electoral Performance[edit]
