68W, also known as "Combat Medic Specialist," is a military occupational specialty (MOS) in the United States Army. Training

The training for a 68W begins with the Basic Combat Training (BCT), followed by the Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The AIT for 68W includes both classroom instruction and hands-on training in medical procedures, emergency care, and patient handling.

During their training, 68Ws learn a variety of skills, including:
