Ringerike Hospital is a general hospital located in Buskerud, Norway. It operates under the Vestre Viken Hospital Trust and serves the Hønefoss area. The hospital has a capacity of 872 beds and is the main healthcare provider for approximately 75,000 residents.
It serves the districts of Ringerike and Hole, the municipalities of Jevnaker and Sør-Aurdal, as well as parts of Hallingdal and Valdres. Additionally, the hospital oversees operations at the smaller Hallingdal Hospital clinic located in Ål.

History[edit]
Before 2009, Ringerike Hospital functioned as an independent health trust. It later became part of the larger Vestre Viken Hospital Trust as part of a national restructuring of healthcare services.
Helipad[edit]
The hospital is equipped with a helipad—Hønefoss Heliport—located just 50 meters from the emergency department. The landing area measures 20 by 20 meters, enabling rapid air transport for emergency and trauma patients.
