Medway School of Pharmacy

Medway School of Pharmacy is a pharmacy school located in the United Kingdom. It is a collaboration between the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent. The school offers a variety of pharmacy and pharmacology courses, including an MPharm degree, which is accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

History[edit]

The Medway School of Pharmacy was established in 2004 as a joint venture between the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent. The school is located on the Medway campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent.

Courses[edit]

The school offers a range of courses in pharmacy and pharmacology. The main course is the four-year MPharm degree, which is accredited by the GPhC. The school also offers a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology and Physiology, and a MSc in General Pharmacy Practice.

Research[edit]

Research at the Medway School of Pharmacy is focused on three main areas: Drug Discovery, Drug Delivery and Tissue Engineering, and Medicines Use and Health. The school has a strong reputation for its research output and has a number of active research groups.

Facilities[edit]

The Medway School of Pharmacy has a range of facilities for students, including a simulated pharmacy practice unit, laboratories for teaching and research, and a learning resource centre.
