Carlo La Vecchia is a renowned epidemiologist and medical researcher known for his significant contributions to the field of cancer epidemiology. He was born on January 3, 1952, in Milan, Italy. He is currently a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Milan, and heads the Department of Clinical Sciences and Community Health.
