Bosteels Brewery was founded by Evarist Bosteels in 1791. Deus, also known as Brut des Flandres, is a unique beer that combines the brewing traditions of Belgium with the sparkling wine techniques of the Champagne region in France. After the initial fermentation, the beer undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, similar to the méthode champenoise. This process gives Deus its effervescent quality and delicate flavor, making it a popular choice for special occasions.
