Barry Kerzin
Barry Kerzin is a prominent physician and Buddhist monk, known for his unique blend of medical expertise and spiritual wisdom. He is the personal physician to the 14th Dalai Lama and a fellow at the Mind and Life Institute, where he contributes to the dialogue between Buddhism and science.

Barry Kerzin was born and raised in the United States. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where he developed an interest in medicine. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Southern California.

After completing his medical training, Kerzin worked as a family physician in California. He later moved to India, where he began serving as the personal physician to the Dalai Lama. In this role, he provides medical care to the Dalai Lama and other members of the Tibetan community.
