The Capital Grille is an upscale American steakhouse owned by Darden Restaurants. The first location was established in 1990 in Providence, Rhode Island. The chain has since expanded, with over 50 locations in the United States.

History[edit]

The Capital Grille was founded by Ned Grace in 1990. The original location was in Providence, Rhode Island. In 1996, the restaurant was purchased by Darden Restaurants, a multi-brand restaurant operator. Under Darden's ownership, The Capital Grille has expanded to numerous locations across the United States.

Menu[edit]

The Capital Grille is known for its expertly prepared steaks, which are dry-aged in house for more than 18 days. The menu also features a variety of seafood options, including Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster, and Oysters. In addition to its regular menu, The Capital Grille offers a Chef's Suggestions menu, which changes daily.

The Capital Grille has over 50 locations across the United States. Some of the most notable locations include New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Washington D.C.. Each location is designed to provide a sophisticated and comfortable dining experience.

Awards and Recognition[edit]

The Capital Grille has received numerous awards and recognition for its food and service. It has been named to the American Culinary Federation's list of "America's Top Tables." Additionally, it has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for its wine list.
