East Mississippi State Hospital (EMSH) is a public hospital located in Meridian, Mississippi. It is operated by the Mississippi Department of Mental Health and provides psychiatric care and chemical dependency services to residents of Mississippi's eastern region.

The East Mississippi State Hospital was established in 1882 as the Second Mississippi Lunatic Asylum. It was later renamed to its current name in 1935. The hospital has a rich history of providing mental health services to the residents of Mississippi.
