Sneak King
Overview[edit]
Sneak King is a stealth video game developed by Blitz Games and published by Burger King. It was released in 2006 as part of a promotional campaign by Burger King, alongside two other games, PocketBike Racer and Big Bumpin'. The game was available for a limited time and could be purchased at Burger King restaurants with a meal.
Gameplay[edit]
In Sneak King, players take on the role of the Burger King mascot, known as "The King." The primary objective is to stealthily deliver Burger King meals to hungry people without being detected. The game is set in four different environments, each with its own unique challenges and objectives.
The gameplay involves sneaking up on unsuspecting characters and surprising them with a meal. Players must use the environment to hide and avoid being seen. The game rewards players for delivering meals in creative and unexpected ways, with higher scores for more elaborate deliveries.
Levels[edit]
The game features four distinct levels:
- Saw Mill - A rustic setting with lumberjacks and workers.
- Construction Site - An industrial area with construction workers.
- Neighborhood - A suburban area with residents going about their daily routines.
- Downtown - An urban environment with office workers and pedestrians.
Each level has a series of missions that players must complete to progress. Missions vary in difficulty and require different strategies to achieve success.
Development[edit]
Sneak King was developed by Blitz Games, a British video game developer known for creating family-friendly games. The game was part of a unique marketing strategy by Burger King to engage customers and promote their brand through interactive entertainment.
Reception[edit]
Upon release, Sneak King received mixed reviews from critics. Some praised its unique concept and humor, while others criticized its repetitive gameplay and limited replay value. Despite this, the game gained a cult following due to its quirky premise and the novelty of playing as the Burger King mascot.
