Leonid Mikhailovich Roshal (born April 27, 1933) is a renowned Russian pediatrician and surgeon, internationally recognized for his work in pediatric emergency medicine and his humanitarian efforts in conflict zones. He is often referred to as the "Children's Doctor of the World" for his dedication to treating children in crisis situations.

Early Life and Education

Leonid Roshal was born in Livny, a town in the Oryol Oblast of the Russian SFSR, part of the Soviet Union. He pursued his medical education at the Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute, graduating in 1957.
