Hasbro, Inc. is an American multinational conglomerate with a focus on toys, board games, and media assets. The company is headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. It is one of the largest toy makers in the world, known for its wide range of popular brands and products.

Hasbro was founded in 1923 by Henry Hassenfeld and Hillel Hassenfeld as Hassenfeld Brothers. Initially, the company sold textile remnants, but it later expanded into producing pencil boxes and school supplies. In the 1940s, Hasbro began to shift its focus to toys, and in 1952, it launched its first major toy, Mr. Potato Head.
In 1964, Hasbro introduced the G.I. Joe action figure, which became a significant success and established the company as a major player in the toy industry. Over the years, Hasbro has acquired several other toy companies and brands, including Milton Bradley Company in 1984 and Parker Brothers in 1991.
