In 2006, Anheuser-Busch decided to move the production of Rolling Rock to its facility in Newark, New Jersey, which led to the closure of the Latrobe plant.

Revival and Current Operations[edit]

In 2007, the Latrobe brewery was purchased by City Brewing Company, a contract brewer based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The facility was reopened and began producing various beers for different brands. Today, the Latrobe Brewing Company continues to operate as a contract brewery, producing a variety of beers for different clients.
