Gloria Jean's Coffees is an international coffeehouse chain that originated in the United States and is now based in Australia. The company is known for its specialty coffee and espresso drinks, as well as a variety of teas, chocolate beverages, and baked goods.

History[edit]

Gloria Jean's Coffees was founded by Gloria Jean Kvetko in Chicago, Illinois, in 1979. The brand quickly gained popularity for its high-quality coffee and unique flavors. In 1995, the franchise rights for Gloria Jean's Coffees were purchased by Nabi Saleh and Peter Irvine, who expanded the brand into Australia. The Australian arm of the company became so successful that it eventually acquired the international rights to the brand.

The company is currently owned by Retail Food Group, an Australian-based retail food brand manager and franchisor. Retail Food Group acquired Gloria Jean's Coffees in 2014, further expanding its portfolio of coffee and food brands.
