Professor Hamilton is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character is primarily associated with Superman and is known for his role as a scientific advisor and ally to the Man of Steel.
Publication history
Professor Hamilton first appeared in Adventures of Superman #424, which was published in January 1987. He was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist Jerry Ordway.

Emil Hamilton was once a brilliant scientist who, after being blacklisted by the scientific community for his radical theories, turned to a life of crime. However, he was eventually reformed and became a valuable ally to Superman, providing him with various technological aids and scientific expertise.
