Eikō Harada (born 1949) is a prominent Japanese businessman, best known for his role as the former President and CEO of McDonald's Holdings Company (Japan), Ltd.

Harada was born in 1949 in Japan. He graduated from the University of Tokyo with a degree in economics.

Career[edit]

Harada began his career at Apple Japan in 1985, where he served as the President and Representative Director until 2004. During his tenure, he was instrumental in establishing Apple's presence in the Japanese market.

In 2004, Harada joined McDonald's Holdings Company (Japan), Ltd. as the President and CEO. Under his leadership, the company underwent significant restructuring and revitalization, leading to improved profitability and market share. Harada's innovative strategies and strong leadership played a crucial role in the company's turnaround.

Harada stepped down from his position at McDonald's in 2015, but continues to be recognized for his contributions to the business world.
