History

Carrols Restaurant Group was founded in 1960 by Herbert Slotnick. The company initially operated as a Carrols fast food chain in the United States, but later expanded its operations to include other brands. In 1975, Carrols Restaurant Group became a franchisee of Burger King, and in 2012, it became the largest Burger King franchisee in the United States.
