History

Over the years, the hospital underwent renovations and additions to accommodate its growing programs and services. In 2009, several new projects were approved, including the addition of a mammography unit, coffee kiosk, and gift shop. In 2011, a new space for the Critical Care unit was opened.
Lakeridge Health Bowmanville continues to provide essential healthcare services to the community of Clarington and is an important part of the Lakeridge Health Corporation.
