The British Dietetic Association (BDA) is a professional association and trade union for dietitians in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1936, the BDA is the only body in the UK representing the whole of the dietetic workforce, including dietitians, dietetic support workers, and students.

History

The BDA was established in 1936 to promote the science and practice of dietetics and to support the professional interests of dietitians. Over the years, the association has grown significantly and now represents over 9,000 members across the UK.
