Dirck Hals

Dirck Hals (19 March 1591 – 17 March 1656) was a notable Dutch painter of the Dutch Golden Age, renowned for his genre paintings that vividly depicted the social life of the 17th century. He was the younger brother of the famous portrait painter Frans Hals.
