Hemofarm a.d. is a pharmaceutical company based in Vršac, Serbia. It is a subsidiary of the German company STADA Arzneimittel. Hemofarm a.d. is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Serbia and the Southeast Europe region, specializing in the production of generic drugs.

History

Hemofarm a.d. was founded in 1960 in Vršac, Serbia. The company initially focused on the production of herbal medicines. Over the years, Hemofarm a.d. expanded its product range to include a wide variety of pharmaceuticals. In 2006, Hemofarm a.d. was acquired by STADA Arzneimittel, a German pharmaceutical company.
