Stouffer's

History

Stouffer's was founded by Abraham and Mahala Stouffer in Cleveland, Ohio. The couple initially started a small coffee shop in 1922, which eventually expanded into a chain of restaurants known as Stouffer Lunch System. In 1946, the company ventured into the frozen food business, selling their meals under the brand name Stouffer's Frozen Foods.
