Cyanogen Iodide (ICN) is a chemical compound with the formula ICN. It is a colorless, volatile, and highly toxic substance that is used in organic synthesis, particularly in the preparation of certain pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Cyanogen iodide acts as a source of cyanide ions in various chemical reactions, making it a valuable reagent in the synthesis of nitriles and other organic compounds.
