University of Montenegro[edit]

The University of Montenegro (Montenegrin: Univerzitet Crne Gore) is a public university located in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. It is the largest and most significant higher education institution in the country.

History[edit]

The University of Montenegro was established on April 29, 1974. It was formed by merging several higher education institutions in Montenegro, including the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Engineering, and the Faculty of Law. Over the years, the university has expanded to include a wide range of faculties and research institutes.

Organization[edit]

The university is organized into 19 faculties and three institutes, offering a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. Some of the prominent faculties include the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
