It is one of the hospitals in Africa that is accredited by the Joint Commission International from USA. The Aga Khan Health Services operates the hospital.

The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi was established in 1958 and has been part of the Aga Khan Health Services since 2000. The hospital is part of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), a group of private development agencies working to improve living conditions and opportunities in specific regions of the developing world.
Services[edit]
The hospital offers a range of healthcare services, including emergency medicine, surgery, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and pediatrics. It also provides specialized services such as oncology, neurology, orthopedics, and radiology.
Facilities[edit]
