Indianapolis is the capital city of the U.S. state of Indiana. It is the most populous city in the state and the 17th most populous city in the United States. The city is known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse economy, and prominent sports events, including the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400 auto races.
History
