Twelve is a natural number following eleven and preceding thirteen. The number twelve holds significance in various fields such as mathematics, religion, and culture.

In mathematics, twelve is a superior highly composite number, a number with more divisors than any number scaled down from it. It is approximately the integer part of the 12th root of 2. It is a Harshad number and a subfactorial number.
