Plot[edit]
The film follows Shrek, a green ogre, and his wife Fiona as they visit Fiona's parents, the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Far Far Away, who are unaware that their daughter and son-in-law are both ogres. The film introduces the character Puss in Boots, a swashbuckling cat who becomes a companion to Shrek and Donkey.

Shrek 2 was a commercial and critical success, grossing over $919 million worldwide and receiving positive reviews from critics. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, and won the Annie Award for Best Animated Feature.
