Prednazate is a combination of prednisolone hemisuccinate with perphenazine, which is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid as well as a typical antipsychotic and sedative/tranquilizer. It was a component of Sixty Six-20, a combination of prednazate (prednisolone hemisuccinate and perphenazine) and chlorpheniramine.

Etymology

The term "Prednazate" is a portmanteau of the two active ingredients it contains: "Prednisolone" and "Perphenazine".

Components

Prednisolone Hemisuccinate

Prednisolone hemisuccinate is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid. Glucocorticoids are a type of corticosteroid hormone that is very effective at reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system.

Perphenazine
