History[edit]

Founded on October 16, 1923, by brothers Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney, Walt Disney Studios started as a small animation studio. This success led to the expansion into feature films, with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, marking the first full-length animated feature in English and Technicolor.

Over the decades, Walt Disney Studios expanded its operations to include live-action films, television, and theme parks. The 1950s saw the introduction of Disneyland, a venture that became a global phenomenon and led to multiple theme parks worldwide.
