PT Asiatic Persada[edit]
PT Asiatic Persada is a Palm Oil plantation company based in Indonesia. The company was established in 1986 and has been a significant player in the Indonesian palm oil industry.

PT Asiatic Persada was initially a part of the Jardine Matheson Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Hong Kong. In 2013, the company was sold to the Goodhope Asia Holdings, a subsidiary of the Carson Cumberbatch PLC, a Sri Lankan conglomerate with diverse interests.
Operations[edit]
The company operates in the Jambi Province of Sumatra, Indonesia. It manages several palm oil plantations and is involved in the entire process of palm oil production, from cultivation to processing and distribution.
Controversies[edit]
PT Asiatic Persada has been involved in several controversies related to Land Disputes and Environmental Issues. The company has faced criticism for its alleged involvement in deforestation and for its treatment of local communities.
