Pax Labs is an American electronic vaporizer company founded in 2007. The company is based in San Francisco, California, and is known for producing the Pax line of vaporizers.

Pax Labs was founded in 2007 by two Stanford University design program graduates, James Monsees and Adam Bowen. The company was initially known as Ploom. In 2015, Ploom was rebranded as Pax Labs.
Products[edit]
Pax Labs is known for its Pax line of vaporizers, which includes the Pax, Pax 2, Pax 3, and Pax Era. The Pax vaporizers are designed for use with loose leaf tobacco and cannabis products. The Pax Era is a pod system vaporizer designed for use with cannabis oil.
Recognition[edit]
Pax Labs has received recognition for its innovative design and technology. The Pax 2 vaporizer was included in the 2015 list of the 25 Best Inventions by Time Magazine.
Controversy[edit]
Pax Labs has faced controversy due to concerns about the health effects of vaping and the marketing of vaping products to minors. In 2019, the company was sued by a user who claimed that the Pax 3 vaporizer was defective and dangerous.
