Prednazate is a combination of prednisolone hemisuccinate with perphenazine, which is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid as well as a typical antipsychotic and sedative/tranquilizer. It was a component of Sixty Six-20, a combination of prednazate (prednisolone hemisuccinate and perphenazine) and chlorpheniramine.

Etymology[edit]

The term "Prednazate" is a portmanteau of the two active ingredients it contains: "Prednisolone" and "Perphenazine".

Components[edit]

Prednisolone Hemisuccinate[edit]

Prednisolone hemisuccinate is a synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroid. Glucocorticoids are a type of corticosteroid hormone that is very effective at reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system.

Chlorpheniramine[edit]

Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine used to treat the symptoms of allergic conditions such as hay fever or urticaria.

Uses[edit]

Prednazate was used as a component of Sixty Six-20, a combination of prednazate and chlorpheniramine. This combination was used for its anti-inflammatory, antipsychotic, and antihistamine properties.
