Croaker
Croaker is a common name for various species of fish. The name is derived from the loud croaking noise they produce. Croakers are found in the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Oceans, and are an important part of many marine ecosystems.
Description
Croakers are medium-sized fish, typically reaching a length of 30 to 40 cm. They have a compressed body and a blunt snout. The dorsal fin is divided into two parts, the first consisting of spines and the second of soft rays. The anal fin has one or two spines and a series of soft rays. Croakers are known for the loud croaking sounds they produce. These sounds are made by the contraction of muscles attached to the swim bladder, an organ that helps the fish control its buoyancy. The sounds are used for communication, particularly during the breeding season.
Diet

Reproduction
Croakers are oviparous, meaning they lay eggs. The eggs are fertilized externally and float freely in the water. The larvae are planktonic and drift with the currents until they are large enough to settle on the bottom.
