Short definition | Stage I Wilms tumor - The tumor was completely surgically removed and all of the following statements are true: (1) Cancer was only found in the kidney and did not spread to blood vessels in the renal cavity (the part of the kidney where it opens into the ureter) or to the lymph nodes ; (2) no cancer cells were found at the edges of the area where the tumor was removed; (3) the outer layer of the kidney did not rupture; (4) the tumor did not rupture; and (5) no biopsy was performed before the tumor was removed |
